ANOTHER layout! New stuff. Great Day!

Do you believe it??? Another layout - another 20 minute layout. New lines from bzoo came in today. Great, fun and FAST layouts - so guess what, I am now into doing my 2001 pictures and this is going to be fast. Take those not so great, grainy pictures - that are part of your childs memories - and put them on this paper and they come alive. Talk about easy - some buttons and some old MM rub-on letters and I am done...and I really like it! I am going back to buy some more of this paper!!

Now wasn't that easy? Scroll down to my previous posts below to see four other pages I just finished this weekend. I AM on a roll!! And check out the FABULOUS new thickers that came in this afternoon - the fonts are so fun! I bought the Jewelry Box in black today. I might have to go back and get a few more colours!

I hope to use them on a page tonight and post it tonight. Colours, fonts...the front desk was piled high with them when I left the store and Ralna was trying to find a place for them...they won't last long. Phone Laura tonight and have her put some aside for you! And new from American Crafts - really fun felt "details". I hope to use them tonight also...stayed tuned!

BTW - Stop by JUST Scrap It! tomorrow afternoon...around 2 pm. That is Tuesday March 4th. Shaw TV will be there...they want to find out what this buzz about scrapbooking is all about. Come and show them what a fabulous art we have! See you there!

And that is all. Phew - what a busy and exciting day!! I even got to the gym today for a work out and washed the car....this is called a day off work!! Love it! I am at JSI tomorrow - isn't life just grand??

Blessings!

Great Aunt!

Hey I am a Great Aunt to a sweet little girl named Clair. My niece had a baby girl last month and so I made a little album of her first moments and days. I used the Daisy Bucket Designs paper line Magical Moments - so easy because I just cut this two sided paper in four to make my 6X6 album.

A bit of ribbon, some card stock from the stash, buttons and cute stickers from Pebbles (also available for boys,

Then I slipped the pages into 6X6 page protectors, cut out two outside chipboard covers and voila! - all available at Just Scrap It! - including the die cut for the covers and the bolts to hold it together. Easy, inexpensive, fun.

Thanks for letting me share!

Christmas layout and other stuff

Got another Christmas page finished last week but only uploading now.

I am sooo busy that I don't have time or am not organized enough to make any lists so all the stuff I need to do just bounces around in my head confusing and frustrating me. Does this happen to you? And sometimes make you feel overwhelmed? My window of opportunity to get them done is wasted on frivolous stuff (like sleep LOL) and then I get all frustrated when I remember I have to get something done and soon!!! I do know tomorrow morning (which I have off work yeah!) will be spent at home as we get a new water heater installed - ouch! but yes we knew it was coming and we are looking forward to hot showers again! :) I hope to catch up on reading all your Blogs while the tank is installed...okay and some laundry too.

You just have to stop in at Just Scrap It! Sharon and I went crazy on Saturday finding places for all the thousands (it felt like that many...maybe it was!) of new Jolees that have come in - and tons of other stuff - like Basic Grey chip board and rub ons - way too cool! and their buttons and ribbon which I really have to use soon. So the store got a little but of a makeover and Sharon and I had a blast. We were literally running all day until we ran out of hooks to put them on - then it was clean up mode. It was oh so busy in there on Saturday and Sharon still had a basket full of Jolees to find a home for on Sunday...and find hooks for. Can't wait to see where they all ended up Sharon. LOL

Fun new album idea! ~ I made this little clear plastic album. It started out as a bit of a chore until I got the hang of it (thanks for the challenge Ralna :) ) It was actually fun. You have to think thru each page and the pages surrounding it because they all add to the overall view, but makes for an interesting and fun look. Double sided embellishments and die cuts as well as MM paint works very well.So here are a few pics. We have these books all ready to assemble in Just Scrap It! This book is there too so come on in for ideas.

Try clicking on the photos to get a better picture.

Blessings!
