Giving Thanks

Are ya gettin' a little tired of Creative Cafe? I have lost count of the # of pages I have done with this line - but it is really working well with my summer/fall pictures from 2001. There seems to be a lot of teal and burgundy in these photos -not sure if it was the old camera I was using or just coincidence - the result is that Creative Cafe colors work beautifully.
Add all those embellishments that coordinate and well... I have got a lot of pages done in a short period of time.

Creative Cafe

Yes it is all Creative Cafe stuff from Creative Imaginations - the paper, the rub-ons the die-cuts. So easy, and so much fun. This is Allison's "Sandwomen" as she called her in her journal. She had so much fun with these girls.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful August long weekend. Enjoy the warmth and the forecast of no rain here on the prairies - imagine that!

#1 Dad

This layout all comes from the Creative Cafe - all except the little clock (heidi swapp) and the chip board # 1 (K&Company) I went into work 2 hrs early and stayed a half hr after to get this done ...but the page only really took about 45 min. I was just too busy helping Laura unpack 6 boxes of new stuff. I couldn't resist. Is there ever a day when we are NOT putting out new product?
My journalling is on the tag in the pocket and is about remembering visiting and looking after Dad this past January when he was really sick and then being able to visit him two months later and get a picture of him when he was not so very sick.
It is rare that Dad smiles for a picture - but I think at this point he was glad to be alive and feeling more like himself again. We all felt the same way too!

Creative Cafe has arrived.

Oh my, I am at a loss for words...really...I mean....it is all so incredible... come and see for yourself! I am so excited. Okay, girl hold yourself together. The Creative Cafe is up and running at JSI - and the stuff is...well...I love it all. What can I say.

Well I can tell you that this was not the week to be working 40 hours at the other job!! DARN!! I am busting with ideas, a ton of product and no time. How am I supposed to concentrate at work? But I will be at JSI on Saturday and will get to make a few projects with all of you locals.

The paper, the rub-ons, the buttons, the fabulous felt - it ALL works so beautifully together. I tell you, my next day off I will be prolific with the pages. All the product in this Creative Imaginations Creative Cafe just works together so beautifully that being creative has never been easier.

This page layout idea came from Scrapbook trends February book. (the best little idea book I have ever bought) Once I had the layout idea, the paper from the Creative Cafe just made it. All Creative Cafe except two firefighting embellishments from my KI Memories firefighting stuff. This page took less than 30 minutes - probably 20.

Come feel our excitement! I will be working at JSI this Saturday...oh my long week! Entertaining Sunday and back to work for five days again on Monday. This too shall pass. I will get some pages done in there somewhere.
